An investigative report attempts to verify and discover details of an individual’s background, track record in business, character, integrity, litigation activity, etc.

An interview of the subject is preferred as this ensures an accurate and detailed report. A further aid to the investigation is a resume or any other identifying information pertaining to the subject, which information saves time and expense.
